Evelyn's Mystery Books

A surprise gift!  I received a lovely surprise in the mail today: an eBay seller sent me this Nancy Drew Files book as a gift. I have ordered a few books from this seller, and I'm sure that I'll order more in future. I love the cover art on this book, and the book is set in Maryland, where my mother grew up and where I still have family. Here's a view of the back of the book: The back of the book. It sounds like a fun book! I don't have many of the files books. I haven't focused on finding them, but I'll slowly work on collecting them as they come up for sale at good prices. A selection of newer Nancy Drew paperback books that I purchased recently. Recently, I decided to purchase a few newer (1980s to early 2000s) Nancy Drew paperback books. I'm mostly buying books that continue the original series (up to #175), but I couldn't resist buying one of the "Nancy Drew Files" books. I bought one with an intriguing cover and plot. I am mostly not interested in the files books. The silly romantic plots don't really appeal to me. However, I might read one here or there - and buy a few when the prices are good. I am interested in the newer paperback books that continue the original Nancy Drew series. I've read a few, and the stories can be quite good. These books are nostalgic for me. I remember buying some of them new in the 1990s and early 2000s. My mother would often buy me one of the books when we went to a bookshop that was located in the sane shopping centre where we did our grocery shopping. I will work on collecting the ...
